3D Printed Motor Mount for 28-30mm motors, for Ultra Slow Stick

The E-Flite Ultra Slow Stick uses an 8x8mm aluminum stick on the front of the fuselage to mount the motor to.   To put a larger or other brand of motor on this plane, which has a 25 x 25mm mounting hole pattern you need a different mount.   This mount is designed with the motor having 2-Degrees of Right-thrust and 10-Degrees of Down-thrust , just like the stock motor mount.

These mounts are 3D Printed from rugged PETG plastic and come with a set of four M3 x 6mm socket head screws to attach your motor to the mount.  The hole in the side of the mount is placed to line up with the pre-drilled hole in the side of the 8x8mm fuselage tube that came with the Ultra Slow-Stick aircraft.

Special Note:  The PETG plastic used to make these mounts is dimensionally stable at temperatures up to 170 degrees F (77 degrees C), which will hold up well to normal use.  If you leave your model in a hot car in the middle of summer on a sunny day, the temperatures inside can exceed these values and can cause deformation of the mount.  Treat your aircraft with the same care you would with your kids or your dog, don’t leave them locked up inside a hot car!
